Having been born into an intuitive family, (I had a very famous grandmother who was a psychic in San Francisco during the late 1800s, and my mother was psychic herself) I became fully aware of my abilities when I was six. From early childhood, my mother encouraged me and my two brothers to meditate and practice using our psychic abilities. They chose to go outside and play; I took it seriously. When I was 15 years old I began doing séances for my mother’s friends, but gave that up once I realized I didn’t have to be in trance to speak to those on the other side. I started helping friends find people, pets, and contact loved ones who had passed over. I dabbled in it for a long time – until my mother died – and I wanted to contact her. Instead, the Universe sent me a teacher who had me practice meditating, contemplating, and intuiting up to six hours a day. I loved it so much, though, that I didn’t mind. My teacher told me that all she was here to do was wake me up and help me to embrace the fact I that was a teacher and could read the future. After six weeks, she came to me and told me I was now the teacher and she was the student. I was scared to death, and so shocked that I stopped going to her for guidance. However, soon after that I was asked to be on a talk radio show though her recommendation. She knew it was my next step. From that point on there was no turning back. I was on my path. I have deeply regretted that my teacher moved away before I could thank her for helping me to awaken. One day, more than a year later, I saw her in the neighborhood and ran up to her. “Thank you so much for helping me find my path,” I told her as I gave her a big hug. She replied, “For what?” I was astounded that she didn’t remember any of it. So for the past 30-odd years I have been embracing my gifts. In the process, Spirit sent me to Sedona where I have been helping, guiding and teaching those who wish to evolve spiritually.
